Dear Band,
6.45-6.50am :Set up instruments , benches and stands (percussion helpers do quickly set-up and help to move instruments, same goes for tubass helpers) do not take your own sweet time
6.50-7.00am:Warm-ups and tuning (bring tuners) + quick uniform check
7.00-7.10am: Be seated and do not fidget around too much, no talking
7.15-7.25am: School comes to get seated (please be alert, don't fidget too much )
7.25-7.45am: Chester , National Anthem and pledge (wait for Ethel’s cue to stand for pledge)
7.45-8.25am: Move all the benches out of parade square and have recess.
8.25am: Be back at Band Room. Please be punctual.
8.30-8.40am: Settle in band room and get instruments ready
8.40-9.00am: Move bigger percussion instruments up first then set up chairs and stands together with the smaller percussion instruments, take your instruments and scores up to the hall
9.00am-9.05am:Settle down (prevent from fidgeting and talking)
9.15-9.25am: Performance
9.25-9.35am: Quietly move instruments out and pack chairs (clear the stage first)
9.35-9.45am: Proceed to band room and pack up (percussion helpers please stick with the percussion and help them , pass your instruments to instrument ICs)
+short debrief then dismissed to proceed quietly to the hall to join classes.
* reminder that everyone would be excused from morning exercise
* Remember to drink lots of water and have breakfast too
*we can all do it ! Dont stress out, remain calm, breathe in and out.We know that this is the first performance for some of you guys, but remain calm and we can do it together and remember to breathe together as a section, watch the conductors and don't follow your own rhythm.
