9.00: Dismissed from class, please inform your teachers and leave promptly, everyone report straight to band rm (if you're having tests in that starts before 9am, eg test from 8:30-9:20, please excuse yourself after you've finished your test)
9.00-9.20: Set up instruments
9.20-9.35: Warm up at FM
9.35-10.10: last min prac with section within fm and band rm
10.10-10.30: practise moving onto stage/off stage in FM (do not be late to arrive at FM)
10.30-11.00: gift exchange, start tying hair (priority to those playing for alumni)
11.00-12.20: Lunch at the canteen/tie hair/change/gift exchange/collection of tickets to be placed at counter
(by the end of lunch, everyone should be in stockings (except perc) +court shoes (keep your school shoes, don’t leave them outside)+tie two braids: priority to those playing for alumni)
12.20-12.40: Be in band rm to pack stuff to bring to esplanade/last minute checks and preparations/exco and/or teachers prep talk
12.40-1.05: (Lorry arrives at 12.40) SLs assign half of section to help move instruments from FM to loading bay and load instruments into lorry
Procedure for loading (in order of priority):
1) All large percussion instruments
2) Tuba and doublebass
3) Eupho
4) LWW (if have space)
5) Trombone (if have space)
5) Trombone (if have space)
After loading, everyone bring everything that's needed and assemble at the foyer by 1.07. Sit according to (brasses+Percussion) and (woodwinds+LWWs) in 2 straight lines, SLs do last minute checking
1.10: Bus arrives (woodwinds+LWWs) board one bus, (brasses+percussion) board another bus (SLs check that all your section mates are present, and that you have everything needed)
1.30: Band arrives at the Esplanade, line up in two straight rows near the wall and wait for everyone to alight before proceeding to unloading bay
1.30-2.00: Arrive at unloading bay, stage passes will be distributed while waiting for the lorry.
2.00-2.20: Woodwind+Trumpet+Horn SLs assign some people to assist perc and tubass in unloading of instruments from lorry to stage. Tubass/LWW/Trombones/Eupho please collect your instruments and with the rest of the band, go to rooms first and unpack/change/warmup first (elinorre+louisa help with the lorry then bring the people to the rooms afterwards... joey+rachel+shueh yee help bring sections to their rooms)
2.20-2.50: Everyone should be in their rooms warming up/tuning (Do not waste time)
2.50-3.00: Bring instruments, files, props and proceed to stage for rehearsal
3.00: Everyone should be ready on stage
(Alumni to arrive punctually at 3.00, be backstage at 3.30pm)
3.00-4.00: Run through pieces with mr/mrs chua (those who are not playing for alumni, please do not play anymore, stay in the rooms and rest. Do any last minute packing for things to bring onto the stage (if needed) Those who haven't got their hair tied, go tie hair. Do not go exploring elsewhere)
4.00-5.30: Run through alumni pieces with mr lee/mrs chua (Leave props behind, the unpainted side facing up)
5.30-6.30: Dinner at green room (No dinner for alumni, have to settle themselves) please keep your uniform clean from any stains and keep hair neat.
6.30-7.10: Rest in rooms, alumni players in Percussion change from band tee to blouse. SLs may want to brief section/prep talk. Anyone who hasn't braid hair, please do so (no playing)
7.00: House open, audience start coming in
7.10-7.20: Tune and do short warm ups in rooms/go toilet/drink water
7.20: Gather and line up backstage (Remain quiet)
7.30-9.00: Performance time! (Enter stage with instrument held properly)
Those not playing for alumni please start packing up your rooms, make sure there is no litter left behind, after cleaning your room, you may watch the rest of the performance backstage
(Those not playing for second half please be backstage 10mins before intermission ends. Do not be late.)
9.00-9.20: Pack stuff up, SLs make sure nothing is left behind (remember to check toilets), and the room is neat and no litter is left behind, before proceeding to loading bay
9.20-9.45: SLs assign some people to help move perc from stage to loading bay and to help tubass load their instruments
9.45: Lorry arrives
9.45-10.10: SLs assign some people to help load the instruments, the rest gather outside esplanade to wait for the bus. Please do not block the way, move aside when the lorry is being loaded.
10.10: Bus arrives (woodwinds+LWWs) board one bus, (brasses+perc) board another bus
10.40: Arrive in school
10.40-10.50: Quickly put stuff down in band room and help unload instruments from lorry to band room (If you want to be dismissed earlier, do not stroll)
10.50-11.00: Make sure nothing is left in the band room (eg. gifts/letters/flowers, if not we will throw it away), dismissed from school (short debrief)
Packing list guideline for SLs:
-sufficient water supply for entire section (1-2 large bottles)
-all instruments (including alumni's instrument if they are using our school's instruments)
-mutes for brasses (if need)
-extra (seasoned) reeds
-rubber bands/clips
-1/2 tuners (with tuner clips)
-all black files with scores
-vests,ties for entire section; fit into max 1 clothes cover/ max 2 for larger sections eg: clarinet/percussion
-Props (assign one person to carry, if your section has difficulties carrying, can ask other sections for help, but must remember to take back)

- 1 or 2 pens/pencils per section (to record tickets paid on sat and/or on monday, state name of person who is collecting, bandit's name, paid or unpaid)

All items should be fitted into max 1 bag, or max 2 bags for bigger sections (eg: clarinets/percussion)
Any other leisure items, bring at your own risk (phones/cameras) it will be your own responsibility to take care of them
