2.30-2.45: set up
2.45-3.25: sectionals on:
-the incredits (focus on tempo, SLs make sure your section can play smoothly)
-disney fantasy (focus on transitions btw each song)
-spirited away+kiki+doraemon (familiarise with transitions btw each song)
-shrek 2 (focus on tempo)
-alumni pieces
3.25-3.35: go through national anthem at FM, dont need to set up chairs (do not be late)
3.35-3.45: prepare for TDD rehearsal:
-bench ICs go to canteen to set up benches at parade square
-SLs assign your section members to either help carry percussion or help tubass
3.45-approx 4.05: total defence day rehearsal
-run through national anthem (everyone should have memorised)
4.05-4.15: bench ICs move benches back, SLs and assign people to help move perc and tubass back to FM
4.15-5.45: continue with sectionals, SLs (only clarinet, tuba, perc) bring mouthpiece/instrument/both to audition sec1s
5.45-6.00: SLs assign some people to help perc move stuff from FM (only those needed for TDD) to band rm
6.00-6.30: debrief+ticket money collection+pack up
6.30: dismissed
For those who stayed for alumni practice and havent paid lunch money, SLs please pass your section's lunch money ($2 for each practice) to Alice by debrief
Sec1 schedule:
3.00: Sec1s come to band rm
3.00-3:30: mdm zaidah will talk to sec1s in band rm
3.30-3.45: introduction with sec1s
3.45-5.15: SLs will audition Sec1s (only for sec1s who didnt go for the previous audition) at seesaw area at 4.15/exco bond with Sec1s
5.30: Dismissed
Take note, the Sec1s will be coming down, they will not be joining us for sectionals yet, but please be on your best behaviour and set a good example for them to follow.
