-tomorrow will be the last practice before we break for Chinese New Year. Band will resume on 6th feb.

-there will be National day rehearsal on 6th, 10th feb so please memorise your national anthem by then.

- the incredits (main focus): start at comfortable speed then increase to around 190 (if possible, 200), make sure everyone is able to play the whole piece comfortably at the fast tempo...use metronome to help

- revise disney fantasy, recall all the details mrs Chua said

- run through and familiarise yourselves with spirited away

-remember to revise other limelight pieces if have time

National anthem:

compulsory: use metronome. (take note: everyone is expected to memorise)

There will be CCA open house (2:30-4:30) and Sec1 auditions (at FM) tomorrow

The following sec2s you are excused from class for lunch at 1.30pm, then at 2.00 please help set up 2 benches, 2 tables (please drape the band banners over the tables), 2 stands (for the sign boards), and place the souvenirs on the table outside the band rm for the booth. The booth has to be set up by 2.30pm (if unsure of anything, please look for Shueh Yee)

Things to do during your booth slot:

-discuss among yourselves, select 2 people to walk around and promote band to the sec1s, try to encourage and bring as many sec1s as possible to go to the FM for auditions (you may want to bring along some souvenirs)

-answer any questions the sec1s may have

-should any sec1s come to the booth, please encourage them to for auditions

Should anyone need to to go into the FM, please go in quietly so as to not disrupt the auditions

We expect to see your shoes in neat rows, we do not want to potray a bad image of our band.

Most of the sec4s will be busy with the sec1s in the FM, so please do not slack, we only have 17 more practices untill Limelight.

6.20-6.30: get ready to sit down and perform (remember to bring your scores)

After performance, bench ICs put back benches, SLs assign people to keep stands/instruments and help perc and tubass move back to FM

2:30-2:45: Set up+SLs assign bench ICs to set up benches in the parade square near the band rm (There will be lessons in the band rm until 3:00pm, so please enter from the back door quietly)

2:45-3:00: Warm ups at FM

3:00-6:00: Go through campfire songs, then Combines (We will be called out for Campfire rehearsal probably around 3:30+pm [We will be the first performance])

Campfire Rehearsal:

-Benches should already be set up

-SLs assign some people to help Perussion/Tubass move to parade square

-Remember to bring stands and scores for HSM and Mission Impossible

-After rehearsal, everyone back to FM, bench ICs keep benches
