breathing exercises:
-blow paper against the wall and try to keep it from falling (move further and further away once you are able to do it)
-blowing air into balloon (as big as you can in one breath)

instrument:
-sustaining notes while maintaining your embouchure (eg. hold for 10 counts)
-practise fingering taught by SLs

*sec 4s will not be around from today until week 10 (wed)  so listen to your JLs (nasueha, dayna, sisipa, kelly) and approach them to clarify any doubts!
*leave band room by 5pm
*sec 2s fill in JL form by wednesday

- *COMPULSORY FOR ALL* take your temperature in the band room before going over to the fm for combines; report your temperature to SLs and if temperature exceeds 37.5° C, inform exco immediately
- 10 mins grace period for those ending classes at 3pm or later, please be *ON TIME*
- sec 1s please bring your balloons + a ziplock bag to store them; if you've thrown them away already, please bring a ziplock bag to store your new balloon in and label your ziplock bags
- please clear the band room by 5pm!

2-3pm: winds do breathing exercises (see instructions below)
-take a piece of paper from the table left from whiteboard, blow it against the wall and try to keep it from falling (move further and further away once you are able to do it)
-take a balloon each from the same table and practice blowing air into it (as big as you can in one breath)
-then try to do this while maintaining your embouchure (the shape of your mouth when you play your instrument). after that, hold the piece of paper in front of your mouth and practice blowing with tonguing ("tu" sound).

*NO SHARING OF BALLOONS
*if you feel dizzy, take a break

3-3.30pm: SLs work with sec 1s on fundamentals, assign them work before leaving for combines (sec 1s stay in band room to practice)
3.30-4.30pm: work on whatever your SL has assigned you
4.30-4.45pm: debrief in band room
