Main band continue to polish up Knight of the Sky and Mario 

5.00-5.30 pack up and assemble in band room. Wait for Kaethe and Yuxuan to dismiss you

Tomorrow, sec 4s and 3s and most 2s will not be around so Kaethe (flute) and Yuxuan (bass clarinet) will be in charge. Please behave yourselves and spend this practice productively.

3pm-3.15pm: set up
3.15pm-5.50pm: section warmups and sectionals on knight of the sky. For warmups, please work on articulations and try exploring different major keys. For knight of the sky please polish up on notes (esp running notes), rhythm (any questions please ask SLs or CMs), dynamics, articulations, tone and balance within section. Do work with the metronome so that you can strengthen your pulse and fundamentals. Sec 4s please start practising railway.
6pm-6.30pm: pack up and debrief

SLs please ensure that your whole section has all the scores for musical evening pieces arranged in order of the repertoire by end of this week.
There will be 3 sections' tutors coming so please avoid using these places:
● horns: parade square
● trombone: band room
● string bass: recording studio

Seniors please take the time to teach your sec ones embouchure and how to blow with support, stick with mouthpiece only first to train up their embouchure

if there is time for sectionals, work on Mario. 

Try and master the rhythm by today, you have been working on it for a few weeks already

Once both are PERFECT in terms of dynamics, articulation, expression and balance, move on to Musical Evening pieces

2.30pm-2.45pm: set up
2.45pm-3.10pm: self warmups
3.10pm-3.45pm: sectionals on national anthem and trumpet voluntary and memorised with details (do not have sectionals in the band room for the whole day)
3.45pm-3.55pm: shift percussion, tubass and benches to the parade square (no stands)
3.55pm: be seated at the parade square
4pm-4.45pm: rehearsal for total defence with uniformed groups
4.45pm-5.05pm: shift back everything and have a short break
5.05pm-5.50pm: work on Musical Evening pieces (whatever you need to work on/SLs have assigned you to practise)
6pm-6.30pm: pack up and debrief

Tomorrow, the sec 1 juniors are coming in. Please put in your best for the rehearsal and be welcoming to the juniors if you happen to pass by them. Also please be a good role model to them. Do remain hydrated! SLs and Exco (or one person from each section) will be involved in allocation of juniors in the band room. SLs please bring out enough number of instruments for your section's desired recruitment of sec 1s once you enter the band room.
