2.30-2.50: Set up/SLs assign half of your section to set up chairs at FM first (try to set up a few extra chairs for the primary school students)
(FMPS students will be arriving at the FM studio at 2.40pm)
2.50-3.00 (estimated timing): Mrs chua will take fairfield and us for warmups at FM
3.00-6.00: Mentoring session with students from Fairfield methodist primary school band, we'll be sightreading their piece: 'Sunset by the lakeside' at the FM with Mrs Chua for combines
6.00-6.30: packup+debrief
6.30: dismissed
Sec1 schedule:
Come at 3.00 (or earlier if you can)
3.00-3.15: quickly set up instruments (you will mainly need your mouthpiece/drumstick (for percussion))
3.15-3.30: set up chairs in band rm facing whiteboard
3.30-5.00: combines with mr Lee (he will be working on your fundamentals and basics)
5.00-5.30: keep chairs+packup+debrief
5.30: dismissed
Sec1s please be polite to Mr Lee, remain quiet, mind your manners and pay attention at all times (even while he is teaching other sections, you can still learn something) he is the founder of our band and he has made many contributions to CGSSB (such as conducting at our recent limelight concert) so please show him some respect.
Everyone, please be reminded to hand in your overnight camp consent forms by tomorrow (13 mar)
There will be MEP orchestra auditions from 2.30pm tomorrow, in which people from other schools will also be coming to participate in, so if any of you are approched by the auditionees for directions, do direct them to the Monet Lab
