Take note:

-We will be playing HSM and firework for Sec1 orientation campfire on 3rd jan (we will attend a rehearsal on 2nd jan)

-Please also be reminded that from now onwards, no one is allowed to bring any liquids into the FM studio, so water bottles will have to be placed on the shelves in the FM walkway.

-Limelight is on 25th Feb, there's really not much time left so please put in your best effort for the upcoming practices, and dont forget to start advertising. (Everyone will be required to sell at least 10 tickets)

9.20-11:00: everyone keep the hall chairs at the back of the hall, then bring the classroom chairs back to G block (we'll try forming a human chain)

Attire for tomorrow: Latest band tee and band skirt (advised to wear shorts underneath)+canvas shoe+socks (can don’t wear school socks)

Bring: Court shoes (please label your names)+vest+tie+blouse+stockings+2 hair bands (if you are braiding your hair) Remember to bring your band uniform in a clothes cover

Come at 12.30pm (Eat heavy lunch before coming)

12.30-12.45: Set up

12.45-1:00: Warm up at hall (Remember to bring files up)

1:00-4:00: Rehearsal in hall (With AVA)

4:00-5:30: Gift exchange+Take photos+Braid hair+ change into full band uniform

5:30-6:30: Dinner (Provided) (Please be back in band room by 6:30 sharp)

6.30-7:00: Calm down/prep talk in band room

7:00-7:10: last minute checking of attire/stuff to bring (SLs + leaders) (Make sure court shoes are already outside band rm)

7:10-7:30: Get into positions in hall (wait quietly backstage)

7:30-9:00: Show time (Intermission is 20mins long)

9:00-9:20: SLs split section, some bring stands down to FM, some help tubass, the rest can bring own instruments/files down (leave percussion on stage, chairs just fold on leave on stage)

9:20-9:25: Short debrief

Things to take note:

-please arrange shoes neatly, there will be many outsiders walking past the band rm

-please don’t block any doors backstage because people need to walk through them

-Lightsticks will be in your vest pocket before spectrum, crack them after sock hop and try to hide them from the audience (eg: put it behind your back)

-SMILE and enjoy the performance

-Sleep early, by 10pm

-We will be coming back on 25th Nov mon to clear the hall, bring down perc, keep chairs

Things to do during intermission:

-Bring your files up from the band room (except Big band, whose files should be with them on stage)

-Change into canvas shoes (court shoes should be left outside band rm before performance)

-Keep your ligthsticks

-Only after the stage is set up and you have changed into court shoes, then you may interact with the audience

Please remember if you can’t meet your friends to pass tickets, put them in an envelop, state the collector’s name, state whether its paid/unpaid then pass it to Joey, and tell them to get their tickets from the ticket booth outside the hall.

For tomorrow, ONLY SEC3s need to come, as we do not need so many people. The rest, please rest well.

9:00-10:00: Transfer classroom chairs (347 chairs) from G blk classes (start from level 2, not enough then go level 1) to hall for audience (form human chain)

10:00-11:00+: 

-Set up props in the hall

-4 people carry 1 table from canteen, and 2 people carry 1 chair to outside of hall, this will form our ticket booth

-Stick light sticks to the bottom of audience chairs

-Paste signs along corridor to lead audience to the auditorium
-Hang the banner

Useful things to bring:
-Scissors
-Glue
-Rope
-Blue tack
-Masking tape

If we finish early, we can leave early.

Dance will be using the FM, and so we can use the Hall for tomorrow

9:00-9:15: Set up

9:15-9:35: Everyone (Except Chair ICs) help bring up percussion to hall, Chair ICs, bring the number of FM chairs needed for your section and put it in the hall toilets, Afterwards, everyone help set up the audience borders with the hall chairs

9:35-10:30: Lee Hui work with sax ensemble in band rm, Hadassah work with percussion in hall, everyone else sectionals. (take the time to brush up on all your weaker songs, especially Phantom)

10:00-10:30: Sec1 Dancers practice dance in the hall

10:30-11:45: Run through first half of spectrum (remember to bring all your stands/files up)

11:45-12:00: Stand ICs and Chair ICs, practice setting up the stage for intermission

12:00-1:00: lunch (Provided)

1:00-3:30: Rehearsing through spectrum (We can leave percussion and the chairs in the hall)
