SIBF 2018 Timeline; 24/7/2018

6.45am - 7am	Report to the band room in 2018 Band Tee and School Skirt
7am (or earlier) - 7.15am	Set up instruments Change to band uniform (excluding stockings) Last minute packing Banana helpers to go and collect bananas
7.15am - 8.15am	Practice with Mrs Chua
8.15am - 8.45am	Recess Wear stockings Do not play instrument anymore (rest)
8.45am - 9am	QMs uniform check Last minute packing/gift exchange
9am - 9.15am	Assemble at the foyer with instruments DO NOT bring cases (except for string bass)
9.15am - 9.50am	Board bus Bus trip to YST
9.50am - 10am	Report Settle down
10am - 10.15am	Banana break Toilet break
10.15am - 10.30am	Tuning in tuning room (15 mins)
10.30am - 11am	Get ready to enter competition hall Last minute uniform check
11am - 11.20am	Performance
11.20 - 11.30am	Pack up (SLs take note of the additional accessories you brought (if any)) Assemble outside competition hall Get ready to re-board bus
11.30am - 12.15pm	Board bus Go back to school
12.15pm - 12.45pm	Pack up
12.45pm - 1.15pm	Debrief
1.15pm - 1.30pm	Dismiss
1.30pm	Close band room door

Things to note:
1. Bring 25ml bottles (for those who have told exco)
2. Bring medication (sealed in ziplock)
3. Bring ezlink card (SLs please bring rubber bands to tie the ezlink cards of the whole section together and give them to exco)
4. Percussion will be in the woodwinds bus
5. Tuba and strings and Percussion helpers please follow the section you are helping onto the respective buses - SLs, please include your helpers when we do head count
6. Only wear stockings after having recess (be on time when you come back from recess)
7. Those who have lessons after you are dismissed, please go back to class

Dear Main Band:

2.30 - 4.30: Practice on Railway and Bonsai Tree

*focus on your internal tuning amongst sections
*wear school tie to practice (simulate band uniform)
*mr chua might be coming so be prepared to have combines if requested
*as this is optional, you may leave or come whenever you feel so, but please take note that this is the LAST PRACTICE before SIBF so do not take it lightly
*OLEVEL ORAL Still ongoing, no playing outside + keep doors closed at all times.

Phototaking

*PHOTOTAKING 20/7 FRIDAY*

• 1.30pm-1.45pm phototaking slot
• Sec 1s be in school uniform + tie
• Sec 2s-4s be in full band uniform (band blouse, tie, vest, band skirt, court shoes + 1 ponytail)

⚠Tuba, clarinets, flutes, saxophones, percussion, trombones, trumpet and french horn send 1 representative to collect one instrument from band room in the morning

• 1.10pm
- you should be changed into band uniform + 1 ponytail
- assemble at mini forum for uniform check

• 1.20pm
- move quietly to foyer
- make sure instruments (props) are ready (without mouthpieces/reeds)

• 1.30pm-1.45pm
- phototaking

• 1.45pm
- bring instruments (props)back to band room
- be back in class by 2pm

*PLEASE GO BACK TO CLASS ASAP
*NO LOITERING AROUND SCHOOL AFTER PHOTOTAKING SESSION
