super super super proud of y'all for our limelight performance. to us, it was a success :) its still not the end yet as we have SYF, so lets work even harder from today onwards!

Dear band,

9am: Report at band room

9:00 - 9.15am: briefing

9.15 am- 9.45am : quick recess + pack the section bag(s) BY SLS and make sure everything that is needed is brought. And also gift exchange (quick one)

10am: load stuff to the lorry, the rest do help out (leave some ppl behind to pack the stuff)

10.30am: board bus(Bus 1: brasses & perc; bus 2: woodwinds)

11am: arrive and collect stage pass

11 - 11.30am settle down and help unload lorry ( the rest to set up in the seats )

11.30 - 12pm: warm ups

12 - 2pm: rehearsal

2 - 4.30pm: lunch & braid hair & change to uni if have time [main band]

2 - 2.30pm: lunch for people involved for alumni band in main band [alumni band]

2 - 4.30pm: Alumni band warmups & rehearsal

4.30 - 5.15pm: emcee mic test and phototaking (so please look natural)

5.15 - 6.30pm: dinner & change to FULL uni(sls check on ur sections) + clear stage

6:30-6:55pm: meet friends/family members (please be back on time)

7 - 7.30pm: open doors + stand by backstage

7.30 - 8.10pm: main band performance

8.10 - 8.30pm: intermission (Exchange over of instruments to alumni) (main band to pack up all instruments and tidy up dressing rooms )

8.30 - 9.15pm: alumni band performance + encore + flower

9pm : main band to stand by at loading bay area

9.10pm: exchange of instrument + move percussion instruments + brasses off stage to loading bay;

9.10`-9.30pm: rest of band to pack and vacate dressing rooms and wait at loading bay + Exchange of instruments back to main band

9.30 - 10pm: travel back to school

10 - 10.15pm unload percussion instruments into FM + pack up

*lunch will be ordered from school so no wastage, including

3-3:15 : set up chairs and instruments in band room (do so earlier if you arrive before 3 please, and help each other out with chairs)
3:15-5: combines with Mr Lee

main band:
3-5:30 : combines with Mrs Chua on Spain and XXY (Vocalist is coming down tomorrow)
5:30-6 : pack up and debrief

we are really out of time, please put in your 110% effort for this last week of preparation. we can do it and we will! :)

( percussion and tubass helpers go to the sections to help)

6.55 : settle down, warmups and tuning

7.05 : run through of march and anthem

7.10: school assembles - no more fidgeting

7.45 : clear parade square ( benches, perc and tubass priority )

7.55 Keep instruments

8am : dismiss

3.00pm-5.30pm: Combines on Nausicaa + National Anthem (Trumpet Voluntary) + Spain
5.30pm-6.00pm: Pack up and debrief
**VERY IMPORTANT: There will be TDD rehearsals at 3.45pm (percussion and tubass helpers please standby. Also, please remember to carry the benches)

Sec 1s:
3.00pm-3.15pm: Set up instruments (If your classes end earlier do come down earlier :))
3.15pm-5.00pm: Combines with Mr Lee on the assignment he has assigned to you
5.00pm-5.30pm: Pack up and debrief


Limelight is only one more week away so please do treat every practice sessions seriously and give your 101% , WE BELIEVE IN YOU 😉

please start taking sectionals seriously.

3:15-5: sectionals. PLEASE WORK ON DD.

             from Mrs Chua: pls clean up bar 82 to 86, 341 to 345 ( they are the same)

349 in D to the especially 397 onwards. Do take note of all the subito piano parts that I requested for Band to mark in.
