Dear Band,

Main band

8:30-8:45 Set up instruments
8:45-9:00 Warm up
9:00-12:30 Combined sectionals on pirates of the Carribean and 80s (Brass and percussion in Band room, woodwinds in Seminar rm)
12:30-1:15 Lunch
1:15-2:00 Sectionals on pieces
2:00-4:00 Those involved in big band have combines in the seminar room. Sec Twos join the sec ones and have combines with Mr Lee in the band room. The rest continue having sectionals.

2:00-4:00 Combines with Mr Lee in the music room (sesame street and howl's moving castle)

SLs remember to photocopy scores of Lion King, Big Band and Sesame Street. Please also remember to bring them after photocopying.

Dear Band,

8:30-8:45 set up instruments

8:45-11:00 sectionals on pirates of the Caribbean, eighties gold and revised version of frozen (if it is ready, it will be passed on to the SLs in the morning before going for sectionals.)

11:00-12:30 combine sectionals

12:30-13:15 lunch (provided, so no one is allowed to go out of school to buy food)

13:15-16:00 combine sectionals

16:00-16:30 pack up and debrief

 

ALL school rules apply tomorrow and on Tuesday even if it's the school holidays.

 

SLs please collect lunch money, which is $10 from each person, from your section mates and pass to Jovinia/one of the treasurers in the morning.

 

Those who owe secretaries MCs/parents' letters please bring them tomorrow, if not the QMs will start implementing punishments.

Dear band,

2:30-2:45pm set up

2:45-5:00pm sectionals on the 3 pieces which will most likely be used for spectrum. By now, all sections should be able to play the 80s with absolutely no mistakes (dynamics, articulation,  intonation, rhythm etc.)

5:00-5:30pm pack up and debrief

Please use the sectionals time wisely as it is a time allocated just for sectionals, so that all of you don't have to come back to school just for sectionals during the holidays. So we expect all SLs to monitor your junior and ensure the section's discipline level is up to standard.

Those sections who owe the band coordinators money for the band hoodie ($22), please pay it to Ashley Tan from trumpet by tomorrow.

Particulars' forms are to be handed in to Julia for woodwinds and Ashley Tan from horns for brasses and percussion, by tomorrow as well.
