Hey band,

7.45-8.00: Warm ups at FM 
8.00-9.45: Combines on homecoming pieces and maybe big band pieces (breaks included)
9.45-10.00: Move up to hall:

-Assigned people will help Tuba and Percussion

-Assign chair ICs to take chairs (from the back of the hall) for section

-Assign people to carry stands, files, instruments

-Percussion will set up on stage first

-Followed by Chair ICs

-Lastly, everyone else move in quickly
10.00-10.45: Homecoming rehearsal
10.45-11.00: Move down from hall:

-Chair ICs keep chairs in toilet cubicle

-Assigned people help Tuba and Percussion

-Everyone else take all stands, files, instruments and vacate stage quickly
11.00-1.00: Combines on homecoming pieces and level item check
1.00-2.00: Lunch
2.00-2.20: Set up on stage (same procedure as before)
2.20-2.30: Be seated and remain silent on stage (Curtains will be closed)
2.30-2.45: Performance 
2.45-3.00: Move down (same procedure as before)
3.00-3.30: Debrief & pack up

Sec ones and those who need uniform parts report at 7am
Sec 2s and 3s come at 7.30am and set up
Remember to come in band tee, school skirt, school shoes.
Remember to set up quickly, minimize talking during combines and not waste time. 
And the last person to leave band room, please remember to off all lights and air-con.
Remember to bring money for musart and sep hol lunch, and take note that the write ups and Zo cards are due on 9 sep.

3:00-4:30 Mr Chua taking clarinets in band rm, everyone else warmups at FM first:

-Usual lessons

-Scales (Emajor)

Afterwards, everyone else sectionals on:

-Homecoming Pieces

-Level Item pieces

-Big Band Pieces

4:30-5:15: Combines

-Homecoming pieces

-Big band pieces

5:15-5:30: Shift up to hall

-Help Percussion and Tuba

-Remember to bring minimal stands up

-Chair ICs to set up chairs

5:30: Homecoming Rehearsal:

-Homecoming Pieces

After homecoming rehearsal, shift down from hall:

-Help percussion and Tuba

-Chair ICs keep chairs

No playing outside due to sec 4 oral.

Last person to leave band rm, please remember to Off All Lights And Air-Con

Dismissal may be delayed, but would not extend beyond 7pm.

Please check the board tomorrow for further details as to whether Mr Lee will be coming, and if there would be any changes to the schedule as such.

Sec3s -Rachel will take Mamma Mia in recording studio

Percussion stay in FM

4:30-6:00 Sectionals

-Homecoming Pieces (remember to perfect the actions!)

-Level Item Pieces

-Big Band Pieces (Good Times and Night Train)

-Other Spectrum pieces

-Scales

Focus on the homecoming pieces. Also, please do not play outside as the sec 4s have oral.

Here's the timeline for today:

8.00-9.30am : Level items
    Mr chua will take sec1s in band room
    Mrs chua will taking sec2s in FM
    Sec3s go for sectionals on mamma mia
    Percussion remain in FM
9.30-10.00am : Break
    (Remember to come back PUNCTUALLY)
10.00am-12.00pm : combines in FM
     - 细水长流 (the chinese song)
     - I gotta feeling
     - sock hop tonight
     - fireworks

Please remember to come punctually for the spectrum discussion at 7am. If you can't make it so early you can notify one of us or your SLs:)

Hey band!

8-9.45: Sectionals on Sock Hop, Firework (memorise both) 
Saxophones and flutes will be taken by Mr Chua and tutor.
9.45-10.15: Break
10.15-11.15: Combine sectionals on Les Miserables 
11.15-12: Combines on Sock Hop and Fireworks
Sec 2s may come for band at 9am due to Sec 2 Showcase.
And remember not to be so noisy during combines.
Also, Shueh Yee will be taking E Major so please know your scales.

3.00-4.30:Mr Chua tutoring clarinets, everyone else go to FM for warmups first

After that, sectionals on

(we don't have fireworks yet, so practice the other pieces first)

[English Olevel Oral will be going on, so strictly NO playing outside]

6.00-6.30:debrief and showcasing of updated ticket design and program booklet

National Day 7/8/13

Hi band! 

Attire for tomorrow: New band T-shirt (to be tucked in) with dark blue/black jeans or pants, remember to bring your red bandana and wear school shoes! :-)

Reach school by 6.45am latest 6.55am. 

Those who come early please help your section mates set up first. Move benches to the corner of parade square.

7am: Be in parade square for warm up and to go through national anthem.

7.20-8: Flag raising (formal celebration)

8-8.15: Move back into band room. Remember to keep the benches.

8.15-8.45: Break 

8.50-9: Shift up to hall (from parade square side)

9.10: Perform~

After perf: Move off stage. Priority is to clear the stage so if too crowded move to toilet first.

Once pack up can join ur class for the rest of the activities!

Come at 7.30am.

8.00am: Warm up at parade square. We will also be playing national anthem for sound check.

9am-10.15am: Combine sectionals 

10.15am-10.25am: Move to the hall, remember to help percussion and tuba section. 

10.25am-10.55am: Break

11am-12pm: Last round of stage practice

12pm: Debrief

And for the Homecoming performance on 31st August, we will be playing 细水长流,I gotta feeling, sock hop tonight. If there is extra time, we will work on firework.

And also bring red cloth if you have, we will be wearing red bandana around our neck for national day.
