13/04/13 Speech Day

Hi band!

Reach by 730am tomorrow.
Set up and get ready for warm ups by 8am.
Those of you who will be using stands, please bring your scores and stands up to the auditorium and put them on stage before 8am.
825am: All to be ready outside the hall
830am: Start moving on stage
9am: Perform
You will be dismissed around 10am. Remember to move quietly!!!

Hi band!

You will be dismissed at 1330 tomorrow. Go have lunch (if you haven't) and change into your court shoes (no need to wear band skirt).
Help to move percussion up on stage and chairs before you move anything else. Choose chairs of the same type.
Be ready on stage by 1445.
After rehearsal ends, move the chairs into the toilet cubicles backstage, not out of the auditorium.
Have sectionals during the remaining time.

Sec ones sectionals as usual. Work on what Mr Lee ask you to (mentioned in previous posts)

Sec 3s who are ending early set up and help percussion up to the hall at 2.30
Respective chair ICs set up the allocated number of chairs.
1515 Speech Day Rehearsal
After rehearsal,
1700 sec ones and twos not in SYF meet ms low at MPR
Sec 3 and 4s report to band room. Discussion with teachers.

For the sec ones
Sectionals till 1700 pack up before that so that you'll meet ms low at 1700
Here's a note from Mr Lee :
"For the duration when the band is in recess, the sec 1s can work on e following scales- E flat, F,&B flat major concert scales & their relative minor. Also chromatic B flat one octave. These exercises can be found in iRecommend. Tell them that I shall test them when practices resume. Thanks & see you."

Speech Day Rehearsal 3/4/13

Hey band!

Tomorrow there's speech day rehearsal (if you haven't realised) and it starts at 3:15pm.
Sec 2 JLs please gather all sec2s in the music room at 2pm and help to set up percussion and chairs on stage in the auditorium ready for speech day (-: Your JLs will know how many chairs to set up per row and there will be percussionists around to tell you which percussion instruments to bring up.
Set up chairs using those at the back of the hall.
Seniors who end at 3pm please rush down to set up and go to the auditorium asap. You will be excused from remedials and extra classes.

If we play well and start on time, we will end at 415pm or earlier (-:
